One of the great things about Stoker’s Dracula is that it inspired an entire genre of movies, spoofs, comic books, and fan fiction. There are not many classic scifi writers who left behind such a vast legacy.
Maybe Edgar Rice Burroughs comes closest to rivaling Bram Stoker’s achievements, but that’s about it. Without Stoker there would be no vampire genre, sub-genre, or whatever you want to call it today.
